LED Smart Grid Lighting System Tested

LED Smart Grid Lighting System Tested: Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Royal Philips Electronics (Philips), and JTC Corporation (JTC) are partnering to upgrade a recently developed LED smart grid lighting system, which use up to 45 percent less energy than fluorescent lighting. The smart grid prototype is scheduled to be further test-bedded in January 2012 at JTC’s CleanTech One, Singapore’s largest lighting test-bed of its kind.
